How Does the Lid-and-Tray Mechanism Work?

  1. Chipboard panels are die-cut to the required sizes for the lid and tray.
  2. V-grooves are added along the fold lines so the corners can form cleanly without cracking the wrap.
  3. The cut panels are folded into separate lid and tray shell shapes.
  4. Water-based adhesive is applied to bond the folded panels into rigid structures.
  5. Decorative or protective paper is wrapped over the assembled shells.
